Position Summary

This recruitment will be used to fill 1-2 part­-time (a maximum of 20 hours per week) Research Unit Student Worker positions for Extended Campus at Oregon State University (OSU).

Research Unit Student Workers work closely with various members of the Ecampus Research Unit team to help with the post-production of the “Research in Action” podcast.

Research Unit Student Workers report to the director of the Ecampus Research Unit within OSU Extended Campus.

OSU Extended Campus is comprised of Ecampus (online education), the Extended Campus Research Unit, Open Oregon State, and Summer Session. It is a fast­-growing, entrepreneurial organization with a commitment to providing access to Oregon State University’s programs of excellence.

Position Duties

- Collecting digital resources and links for episode show notes

­- Transcription of episode audio files

­- Checking past episode links for errors or updating

­- Social media post drafting

- Social media art creation

- ­Misc. projects

Working Conditions / Work Schedule

Typical office environment. Schedule consists of up to 20 hours per week during enrolled terms with opportunities for more work hours during breaks.
