The Economics Program teaches approximately 4,500 students in its introductory microeconomics and macroeconomics classes annually. In an effort to promote the success of those students and to provide opportunities for student engagement, the Program runs the Economics Undergraduate Tutoring Lab during the school year where students in lower division economics classes can come and get FREE help from upper class undergraduate students who have demonstrated a mastery of the subject matter. The ECON Tutoring lab gives our students in lower division classes another resource, in addition to instructors and teaching assistants, for them to seek assistance with classwork. It also provides upper class ECON majors the opportunity to gain experience teaching economics as well as an opportunity to help fund their education.
